Ceramics: Handbuilt Planters

In this class, students will learn how to design and create unique planters using handbuilding techniques such as slab construction and pinching. You’ll explore functional considerations like drainage, wall strength, and scale while also experimenting with texture and surface decoration. The instructor will guide you from initial ideas to finished, glazed pieces ready to house your favorite plants. All skill levels are welcome - just bring your creativity and love of greenery!
