Ceramics: Texture and Surface Design in Clay

In this exploratory ceramics class, students will experiment with a range of texture and surface design techniques to transform simple forms into expressive, visually rich pieces. You’ll try tools, stamps, carving, slip or glaze application, and layering methods to create depth and character on your work. The focus is on play, discovery, and developing your own creative approach to surface. All skill levels are welcome - curiosity is the only requirement!
