One Shot Project: Ceramics: Bird House
Description
In this beginner-friendly, one-shot class, students will use slab-building techniques to create a simple, functional ceramic birdhouse. We’ll walk through rolling and shaping slabs, assembling the structure, cutting an entrance, and adding details like perches, texture, or decorative elements.
Students can design their birdhouse with a classic look or add their own artistic flair. At the end of class, you’ll select a glaze for your piece, which will be fired and ready for outdoor display or indoor décor.
A fun and approachable project for all skill levels!
