One Shot Project: Needle Felted Animal

In this cozy, hands-on workshop, students will learn the basics of 3D needle felting while creating their own small wool animal sculpture. We’ll cover essential techniques such as shaping forms with core wool, adding details and color, and safely using felting needles to achieve firm, clean shapes.

Students can choose from a variety of simple animal designs—such as bunnies, birds, cats, or woodland creatures—and personalize them with markings, accessories, or expressive features.

This beginner-friendly class is perfect for anyone who loves soft, tactile crafts and wants to try a fun sculptural technique. You’ll leave with an adorable handmade wool critter and the skills to continue felting at home!
