K-2nd Summer Camp: Fiber Fun Factory: Soft Creations

Students will explore the world of fibers and sewing as they learn simple stitches and experiment with weaving, felt, fabric collage, and soft sculpture projects. Young makers will create cozy, colorful artworks while building fine motor skills and confidence through hands-on textile exploration. This camp encourages patience, creativity, and playful experimentation with a variety of soft materials.  

Our young artists will:

• Create handmade stuffies using simple sewing techniques

• Design colorful woven pieces with yarn and unexpected materials

• Explore wool felting using water and soap

• Dye fabrics for wearable and decorative creations

• Enjoy a calming sensory experience while building real-world skills

The week concludes with a special exhibition for families on Friday from 12:00–12:30pm at the EAC, where students’ creations will be on display.
