K-2nd Summer Camp: Artful Adventures in Storytelling
Description
Stories come to life through art in this imaginative camp where students will create projects inspired by books, characters, and original storytelling ideas. Activities may include puppet making, comic creation, character design, and mixed media story scenes that encourage narrative thinking and creative expression.
Our young artists will:
-
Used mixed media to create projects based on favorite books
-
Create puppets, scenery, and storytelling props
-
Explore simple comic and sequential art
-
Make mini-books based on stories they love or create themselves
-
Learn how to develop characters and the worlds they live in through visual art
The week concludes with a special exhibition for families on Friday from 12:00–12:30pm at the EAC, where students’ creations will be on display.
