3rd-5th Summer Camp: Character Creators: Anime and Cartoon Art
Description
Students will dive into the world of anime and cartoon art as they design expressive characters, explore stylized drawing techniques, and build imaginative worlds. This camp blends illustration with 3D storytelling projects, encouraging artists to develop unique character concepts while experimenting with visual narrative and animation-inspired design.
Our artists will:

Learn design and history of anime and cartoon drawing

Design original characters and creature concepts

Build miniature scenes and sculpt character figures

Explore facial expressions, movement, and pose design

Create mini-books featuring their characters
The week concludes with a special exhibition for families on Friday from 3:00-3:30pm at the EAC, where students’ creations will be on display.

Age: 3rd-5th Grade. Must have completed 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade.
