3rd-5th Summer Camp: STEAM Lab: Nature and Discovery Studio
Description
Students will investigate the natural world through creative experimentation, combining scientific observation with artistic exploration. Projects will draw inspiration from plants, textures, environmental processes, and natural phenomena while encouraging curiosity and inquiry-based learning.
Our artists will:

Create natural photographics using sunlight, cyanotype paper, and natural objects

Explore observational drawing and scientific sketching

Create their own natural pigments from safe, outdoor plants and paint with them

Use natural materials to design sculptural and collage works

Investigate how nature influences artistic design
The week concludes with a special exhibition for families on Friday from 3:00-3:30pm at the EAC, where students’ creations will be on display.

Age: 3rd-5th Grade. Must have completed 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade.
