3rd-5th Summer Camp: Character Creators: Comics and Story Illustration
Description
Students will explore visual storytelling through comics and illustration as they design characters, develop narratives, and create sequential artwork. This camp integrates drawing with 3D projects and creative writing elements, encouraging artists to build immersive story worlds and original graphic narratives.
Our artists will:
-
Use writing and drawing prompts to develop original characters and storylines
-
Explore comic layout and panel design
-
Create illustrated scenes and narrative artwork
-
Build miniature environments and storytelling props
-
Experiment with expressive illustration techniques using pens and paint
The week concludes with a special exhibition for families on Friday from 3:00-3:30pm at the EAC, where students’ creations will be on display.
