K-2nd Summer Camp: Messy Science Lab: Art Experiments
Description
This exciting camp blends creativity and curiosity as students explore art through hands-on experiments and playful discovery. Projects may include bubble painting, salt art reactions, marbling, spin art, and other creative surprises that combine science and artistic expression. Young artists will learn that art can transform, react, and reveal unexpected results while having plenty of messy fun.
Our young artists will:
-
Explore how paint reacts with materials like soap, salt, and oil
-
Use paint-filled balloons to experiment with physics in art
-
Create paint explosions with baking soda and vinegar
-
Use marbling inks on water to create a marbled effect on paper
-
See how different materials react to being spun with centrifugal force
The week concludes with a special exhibition for families on Friday from 12:00–12:30pm at the EAC, where students’ creations will be on display.
