Adults - Beginning Wheel Throwing

This class is designed for beginning wheel throwers for whom this will be their first (or nearly first) time using a pottery wheel.

Discover the timeless art of wheel-thrown pottery in this immersive clay class designed for adults. Whether you’re completely new to the wheel or looking to strengthen your foundational skills, this class offers hands-on instruction in centering, pulling walls, shaping forms, trimming, and glazing.

Guided by an experienced ceramic artist, you'll transform raw clay into beautiful and functional works - like mugs, bowls, and vases - while gaining a deeper appreciation for the process and practice of pottery. With a focus on both technique and creative exploration, you'll leave with finished pieces and a newfound connection to the craft.
