Adults - Ceramics: Beginning Skills

This class is designed for students who have no prior experience with clay.  

In Ceramics Lab: Beginning Skills, adult students will be introduced to the foundational techniques of working with clay in a welcoming, hands-on studio environment. This class covers both handbuilding methods—such as pinch, coil, and slab—and an introduction to the pottery wheel, giving students a well-rounded experience in forming and shaping clay. Participants will also learn basic glazing and surface techniques to finish their work. Perfect for beginners, this class emphasizes skill-building, exploration, and confidence in the ceramic studio.
