Adult (16+) Wheel Throwing I: Foundations

New to the pottery wheel? This class is the perfect place to begin! Students will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including centering clay, opening forms, pulling walls, trimming, and glazing while creating functional ceramic pieces in a supportive studio environment. No prior experience is required.

Completion of this class prepares students to take "Wheel Throwing II: Continued Practice", and will also be eligible to attend Open Studio to continue practicing their skills independently.
